Sew Your Own Towel Shorts Workshop
Welcome! Come take this fun workshop where you turn a beach towel into shorts! Made for the water and all materials provided are 100% cotton! Yes! You can bring in your own towel, you might need to bring in 2 if they are small.
What You’ll Learn:
Understanding your sewing machine (no threading, only learn how to use it)
Essential sewing tools and learn some fabrication
Basic stitches: straight stitch, backstitch, zigzag
We’ll also be learning how to use a serger! (no need to have any sewing experience)
How to sew elastic in and hem!
Tips on troubleshooting common sewing machine problems
Learn how to use a sewing pattern and sew a pocket on! The shorts can be high-waisted or low waisted to your style! For all genders!
Class Format:
Hands-on practice with step-by-step guidance
