Design your own costume for halloween!
Who is it for:
Must know Machine Basics (no need to know how to make clothes) (this class will not go over threading a machine (will do a quick reminder tutorial). Cutting the pattern out will be the first class.
All unisex patterns! Male or Female.
Challenge yourself this year by making your own halloween costume!
What You’ll Learn:
Use a commercial pattern
How to work with different fabrics
How to take proper measurements
Understand grainlines and pattern terminology
Materials: All provided for 5 classes, but you are more than welcome to bring your own!
We have sewing patterns to be any Disney princess or superhero (spandex jumpsuit/cape), we provide fabric for you if you sign up for the WHOLE 5 classes (just tell us in the notes when filling out the booking form what costume you want to be, helps to give two options).

Class Format:
Hands-on practice with step-by-step guidance
Small class sizes to ensure personalized attention (cap at 6 students)
Friendly and supportive atmosphere for all skill levels
You will have a finished costume at the end of the 5 classes, however if you only attend a couple of classes (you’ll have to finish by yourself or come to our open studio hours)
Taught by Van and assistant (if over 5 students)
