Who is it for:
Must know Machine Basics and made one garment before (this class will not go over threading a machine (will do a quick reminder tutorial)
Perfect for spring/summer coming up, you will have some variations to make either a denim jacket, collar shirt, or collar shirt dress. All unisex patterns! Male or Female.
Available for all 4 classes: 3 hours each
What You’ll Learn:
How to make buttonholes and sew buttons on
Sew a collar with interfacing
Use a commercial pattern
Clean edges with a serger
How to take proper measurements to make tops
Understand grainlines and pattern terminology
Materials: All provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own!
If desired to make and want to bring your own materials (price does not change):
45”/60”: 3 yards of medium weight denim or twill
45”/60”: 3 yards of light weight cotton fabric for a dress shirt or shirt dress
Class Format:
Hands-on practice with step-by-step guidance
Small class sizes to ensure personalized attention (cap at 6 students)
Friendly and supportive atmosphere for all skill levels
You will have a finished jacket at the end of the 4th class.
If need to miss a class, can do some homework at home.
