Join us for a friendly, hands-on sewing workshop where you'll learn the essential skill of hemming your bottoms like a pro! Whether it’s jeans, trousers, or skirts, this lesson will help you achieve a flawless finish every time.
What You’ll Learn—-Beginner friendly, will show how to use machine (no threading)
How to measure and mark the perfect length
Techniques for hemming jeans and keep the original hem!
Secrets to a neat, professional-looking finish and ironing
Types of hem we will teach: Jeans, stretchy fabrics with cover stitch, blind hem on the sewing machine/by hand as well, baby hems of silky fabrics
What to Bring:
TWO bottoms you want to hem (jeans, pants, or skirts)—- please no multiple layers or evening/wedding dresses, please note: silky fabrics will take longer
We will have practice fabrics for you to try before doing your bottoms.
All other supplies are included in pricing.
