Ages 4-6.5: Ministitchers Fall 26' Classes (Fridays: 3:30-5:15pm): Parent can join
What They Will Learn
How to safely use a needle, thread, and scissors (develop their motor skills), How to follow simple patterns, Creating fun projects such as stuffies, plush pillows, keychains, pouches, and craft. Teaching different hand stitches. Please note: This is for learning hand-stitching only.
We offer sewing machines for kids ages 7-12 for afterschool classes, camp workshops, and Saturday morning class.
Class Details
Ages: 4-6.5: (This is also for moms to join as well)
Schedule: FRIDAYS: Sept 18th-Dec 18th: 1 hour and 45 mins.
Class Size: Small groups (12 persons each class) —2 instructors if more than 6
Location: LIC ART CENTER 44-02 23rd Street Suite 210, Queens 11101 (same floor as the LIC Art Ballet)
All supplies will be provided, except snack and a water bottle, which they can fill up!
Parents must fill out form completely upon booking
This is all hand-sewing and crafting projects (no sewing machine permitted)
Discount when sign up for all 14 classes.
Environmental Friendly
The Sewing Clubhouse prides itself creating, using, and managing textiles and garments in ways that reduce environmental impact, conserve resources, and promote ethical practices throughout the process. All fabrics are sourced sustainably meaning either through donations/second-hand as most supplies being used are as well.
-Led by Van: a former high school sewing teacher and fashion industry professional with over a decade of experience teaching kids & adults and Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design with a knack of up-cycling things
Cancellation Policy:
-Can request prior to classes beginning, no refunds on missed classes, make-up classes are offered on weekend or join another weekday class.

Not at all! Classes are beginner-friendly and start with the basics.
Can parents stay during class?
If you select the mommy and me option, then yes. If not, you can drop off only
